ON HOW TO HOLD SPACE
At ECS, some community spaces are intentionally reserved for our members to ensure safe, focused, and empowering exchange within our ECS-Shecosystem. At the same time, our overall approach is inclusive. We actively invite men to stand with us as allies. To support our mission, share responsibility, and advance equity and collaboration across the cannabis industry.
Our community operates under a clear Code of Conduct (LINK), is guided by an independent Ethical Board, and grounded in the statutes of our ECS e.V. association. You can explore all of our activities on this website and by following our channels or by sharing news to amplify the voices of female role-models. We are grateful for the many men who walk alongside us. Together, we lead the change in companies, in our communities, and by building diverse teams that uplift a shared vision. We are deeply committed to protecting the values we stand for, ensuring that our spaces are not infiltrated or misused, but nurtured with care, integrity, and purpose.
Let’s empower everyone by empowering women. And when women rise, the industry rises. Let’s get to the next-level, with this joint intention in mind.

EmpowerHer @ ICBC 2025 in Berlin
A Heartfelt Thank You
EmpowerHer was proud to make its debut with a dedicated booth at the International Cannabis Business Conference (ICBC), a major milestone for our growing community. This presence was made possible through the generous support of ICBC and Alex Rogers, to whom we extend our deepest thanks. Your partnership played a vital role in elevating visibility for women and allies within the global cannabis industry.
Under the motto “High Times for Equality” we brought our mission as an association to life, boosting off our official start at the industry’s most influential event. Our booth was more than a physical space. It became a living shecosystem, a professional ecosystem for everyone working toward a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable global cannabis industry. Across panels, conversations, and spontaneous meetups, the EmpowerHer booth sparked meaningful exchange and new collaborations. We believe that representation is not a side note, it’s a central driver of innovation and sustainability in the cannabis economy. Through our presence at ICBC, we made clear that the future of cannabis must be built on equity, access, and collective empowerment.
Thank you again to the ICBC team for making space for impact. This was the beginning.
