Offical ECS EmpowHer Cannabis Society e.V.
ECS EmpowHer Cannabis Society e.V. is a newly established official association (eingetragener Verein) founded on March 3rd, 2025, in Berlin. Our mission is to empower women and FLINTA individuals (female, lesbian, intersex, non-binary, trans, and agender persons) within the global cannabis ecosystem through education, mentorship, advocacy, and strategic networking.
ECS is currently in the process of being officially entered into the Berlin Register of Associations. While we are not yet a recognized charitable (gemeinnützig) organization, we are actively working toward this status. Once our registration is confirmed, we will officially open our doors for tiered memberships, sponsorships, and collaboration for everyone to participate.
Our association is built on the belief that empowerment is a process of systemic change — one that includes creating space, amplifying voices, and reshaping structures that have historically excluded women and marginalized genders in the cannabis space. Through ECS, we aim to build a strong, inclusive community and promote equality, diversity, and innovation across the cannabis industry—locally and globally.
Purpose of the Association
The ECS EmpowHer Cannabis Society e.V. is committed to promoting the empowerment of diverse women and FLINTA individuals within the global cannabis ecosystem. Through education, mentoring, and advocacy, ECS fosters a diverse and inclusive community in which women can thrive as central actors in the cannabis industry. Our core aim is to sustainably contribute to gender equality and diversity in this sector, creating opportunities for women to shape the industry and society as a whole. Although we are currently awaiting charitable recognition, we are guided by principles that align with the “Tax-Privileged Purposes” outlined in the German Tax Code.
